Very Pretty Vintage Mexican Artisan Ornate Sterling Silver & Onyx Ring

Very pretty antique/vintage Mexico artisan sterling silver and onyx ornate ring, size 6, sizable. This lovely ring is 1 1/4” long by 5/8” wide and weighs 6.1 grams. It features a marquis shaped highly polished onyx cabochon bezel set in an ornate sterling silver setting. This ring is solid and well made with nice detail. It is possible that it was originally a pin or earring that was converted to a ring. The eagle stamp mark and “Hecho En Mexico” on the back are partially covered up. That being said, if this ring is a conversion piece, it was very well done, obviously by a skilled jewelry artisan. This ring is in very good antique/vintage condition with no damage other than minor age appropriate surface wear The stone has no nicks nor cracks. Any display items pictured are not included.
