    A Mexican modernist bypass/wrap design signed "925" "Mexico" "Taxco" "JPC" sterling silver and turquoise chip inlay bypass or wrap band ring, a nice mid-century piece. The maker mark is "JPC", the ring is signed "Mexico", "Taxco" with an old Mexican Eagle assay mark. The Eagle mark is worn and difficult to read. It is signed "925" for metal content and guaranteed sterling silver. The face measures 33mm top to bottom (1 1/4") and the band measures about 3.5mm in the rear. It weighs 5.5 grams on our scale. This ring is in vintage, used, pre-owned condition; it does show some signs of normal wear including some scuffs to the band and it needs to be cleaned and polished as we have not - NOT NEW; please view the photos and the written description below. This ring measures a size 7 on our jeweler's ring mandrel however by design it is somewhat adjustable by hand.
