Mexican Sterling Vintage Ring with Green Center Stone Possibly Onyx Size 7.25

Description

This is a Vintage Mexican Silver Ring with a Beautiful Dark Green Center Stone that is slightly translucent which leads me to think it is green Onyx.  The top of the ring measures 7/8 inches by 7/8 inches and the ring size is 7-1/4.  Although it is not marked sterling, I tested the top portion and the band by scratching them on a stone and testing the scratch with acid and both parts test positive for sterling.
Condition: The ring is preowned and therefore has signs of normal wear. There is also some discoloration the oxidation portion of the ring that possibly a jeweler can buff out.  The stone is in nice condition and shiny with some hard to see surface scratches from use.
