    Description

Gene Stallings played at Texas A&M under head coach Bear Bryant, and was a member of the famed Junction Boys. The Junction Boys were ?survivors? of Bryant?s 10-day camp in Junction, Texas, where they practiced all day with temperatures topping 100 degrees and refusal of water breaks. The tough, and now considered extremely dangerous, practice didn?t work as planned, as they finished 1-9 for the 1954 season. In 1956, Stallings helped the team finish 9-0-1 and win the Southwest Conference Championship, it?s first since 1939. After graduating, he joined Bryant?s coaching staff at Alabama where they won the National Championship in 1961 and 1964. Stallings was named the head coach of Texas A&M in 1965, and in 1967, he lead the Aggies to victory over Alabama and Bryant in the Cotton Bowl. Stallings was enshrined into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2010. This Texas A&M Aggies mini helmet has been hand signed and inscribed "Junction Boy" by Gene Stallings. Each autograph includes an individually numbered TRISTAR Authentic hologram which can be verified online.
